An extraordinary performance by renowned Australian pianist, Timothy Young, whose repertoire spans timeless classical masterpieces and bold modern virtuoso works. In this recital he will present a program featuring Frédéric Chopin's towering Sonata No. 2, Op. 35.
One of the great masterpieces of the Romantic era, this sonata includes the unforgettable third movement – the world-renowned Funeral March, a piece still widely used today in solemn tributes to those who have passed.
Timothy Young, also serving as adjudicator for the 2025 Geoffrey McFerran Young Victorian Regional Piano Competition in Wodonga, brings unparalleled insight and artistry to this recital.
