The Mary Valley Rattler and Gympie RSL Sub Branch invite you to step back in time aboard the Commemorative ANZAC Day Troop Train. This special journey is a heartfelt tribute to honour the spirit of ANZAC and remember the brave men and women who served our nation. What to Expect: Be welcomed onboard by cadets in uniform, setting the tone for this solemn journey. Receive a red poppy, a symbol of remembrance, as a tribute to those who served. Reflect during the recitation of The Ode, a powerful moment of respect and gratitude. Enjoy the comforting tradition of station-made ANZAC biscuits, a nod to the past and a taste of history. A Taste of Tradition: Upon returning to the historic Gympie Station, enjoy a delicious ANZAC-inspired traditional roast lunch, served in the spirit of camaraderie and community.
