Celebrate Canberra Day and support your community by joining the Canberra Day Appeal Fun Run, followed by a morning of entertainment in Commonwealth Park. The Canberra Day Appeal Fun Run around Lake Burley Griffin will offer three distance options: a 2.5-kilometre run, which is perfect for families, children, and those who would prefer to walk; a 5-kilometre run for those who would like more of a challenge; and a 10-kilometre run for regular runners and serious athletes. The 2.5-kilometre route will put the fun back into fun run with plenty of family entertainment along the way! The 5-kilometre and 10-kilometre runs will be timed and medals will be awarded to finishers. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on any of the run distances. Profits from the entry fees will go to the Hands Across Canberra Canberra Day Appeal. And when you've completed the run head to Commonwealth Park for markets, food and entertainment to celebrate Canberra Day!
