This architecturally stunning facility, set within the Museum reserve, safeguards 95 million years of history and is home to one of the world’s largest dinosaurs “Cooper.” Discovered by a local boy on his family’s property, Cooper’s find unveiled a treasure trove of bones, fossils and relics, illuminating the rich history and cultural heritage of the upper Murray/Darling and Lake Eyre/Cooper basins.
