Shaw and Partners Iron Series Athlete Trial Round

Only Australia’s 48 of the fittest surf sports athletes have the chance to battle it out over four rounds of Iron racing across Australia in Surf Life Saving Australia's Professional Closed League Racing Series - The Shaw and Partners Iron Series. The Trial will take place at Tugun Beach, QLD. Do you have what it takes? Female Heats will be followed by Male Heats. Following Race 2, re-seeding of all competitors will occur with 40 males and 40 females with the highest point score from first two rounds to qualify for Race 3. Following Race 3, the top 25 male and female athletes, based on a combined points total of their 3 races will qualify for the finals on Sunday 17 November. Fifteen Iron Men and Women from the Trail Finals will qualify for the 2024/25 Shaw and Partners Iron Series, and will contest Round 1 at Wanda, NSW.
