Australia Day Regatta

The Australia Day Regatta continues to be a significant part of the celebration of our national day. First held in 1837, the Regatta is the oldest continuously run annual sailing event in the world. Join the 189th Australia Day Regatta on Sunday 26 January 2025. The regatta has a wide range of individual events from ocean racers and classic gaff-riggers to radio-controlled yachts and historic skiffs. More than 20 participating clubs across NSW will offer racing in an appealing variety of craft. No yacht is too large or small to enjoy this wonderful day afloat.
