Description

Held in January at the picturesque Penola Racecourse the Coonawarra Vignerons Cup is one of the major tourist drawcards to the region, making it one of South Australia's most famous country racing events. Each year, the event welcomes more than 2,000 visitors from all parts of Australia to enjoy a full day of live racing action and trackside entertainment. One of the highlights of the day is the 36° South Coonawarra Vignerons Cup Marquee, which hosts over 500 wine industry people and guests. The all-inclusive Marquee event includes a 2 course luncheon and 6 hour Coonawarra wine package, with imperial wine auctions, Fashions in the Marquee, live music and live racing action.
