Description

Held in the last two weekends of October, this seaside literary festival is a celebration of Australian authors, books and ideas featuring some of their finest writers and thinkers. At its 10th anniversary in 2024 the festival hosted Australian literary greats Tim Winton, Pip Williams, Alexis Wright and Candice Fox, amongst others. Begun in 2015, the festival is run by a voluntary committee of management as a not-for-profit incorporated association. QLF pays all participants fees based on the Australian Society of Authors recommended rates.
