As the temperature drops and winter sets in, Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, is opening the doors of Government House for a series of thought-provoking conversations with inspirational South Australians. As part of Government House's free Winter Conversation Series, our next conversation on Friday 6 June focuses on "Entrepreneurs in South Australia". The Governor will be joined in conversation with two of South Australia's young rising entrepreneurs, Eloise Hall and Ben Colley, as they discuss their career journeys, the world of South Australian start-ups, and the opportunities and challenges for entrepreneurs in our state. Eloise is the CEO and Co-Founder of TABOO Period Products, a social enterprise selling organic and ethically sourced period products with all company profits committed to ending period poverty. She is personally committed to making long-lasting, structural changes to bridge the inequality that exists in our communities. Ben is General Manager of Stone and Chalk Adelaide, a start-up and innovation incubator based at Lot 14. He is an Australian technologist with experience in the development of innovative products, teams and companies at their startup to scale-up stage. He has also worked as a scout for venture capitalists and an angel investor. Attendance is free, bookings are required. We look forward to you joining us.
