Come celebrate creating enchanting sounds and rhythms with your own clap sticks. Connecting to Country through the knowledge of dau'wa dhu (dry wood/trees) Connecting with the sacred wood for clap stick medicine. You'll get to choose your timber from various tree species provided and be shown how to use hand tools to cut and shape your own personalised clapsticks. Once you are happy with the size and shape of your clapsticks, Aunty Dinnawhan will lead you through mark making using wood burning tools and how to finish and seal using natural oils.
