Open daily over Easter (including Good Friday), Scion is located just 2km south of Rutherglen's Main Street. Easy biking or walking distance under autumn skies! Join the Scion team for a wine-tasting experience or enjoy a picnic in the winery's relaxed outdoor setting, which offers shaded seating and a grassy lawn. Bring your own picnic or pre-order a platter ready for your arrival at Scion. Scion's handmade wines are available by the glass and bottle, as well as Muscat G&Ts, local craft beers and soft drinks. Strictly no own drinks. Platters by Savoy Truffle Co: Grazing platter - $92 (includes 15% public holiday surcharge) Local smoked meats, artisan cheeses, house-made pickles, house-made dips with crudités, assortment of crackers, seasonal fruit. Designed as lunch for two people (or light grazing three - four). Minimum 48 hours notice. Snack Boxes by Grace: Cheese and Charcuterie Box - $80.50 (includes 15% public holiday surcharge) Cheeses (two), charcuterie (terrine, pate, salami, prosciutto), seasonal fruit, quince paste, sourdough crisps and gluten-free wafers. Designed to share between two/three people. Minimum 24 hrs notice. Oyster Box - $48.30 (includes 15% public holiday surcharge) A dozen freshly shucked appellation oysters with lemon wedges. Minimum 24 hours notice required. For kids: Enter the Easter colouring competition, or play Cornhole, Jenga and other games on the lawn while mums and dads enjoy their wine tasting.
