Jack Hawthorne Trio Live at The Curious Rabbit

Jack Hawthorne is a Sydney based guitarist emerging quickly into the jazz scene. With strong roots back home on the family farm near Ardlethan (NSW), his music has brought him all the way to Sydney where he is currently studying Jazz at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Jack has performed on stages such as the ICC Sydney, Theatre Royal Sydney, Seymour Centre, Foundry616, and Butchers Brew, but with a particular focus on jazz, Jack is carving out a unique voice that both echoes tradition and innovation. The Jack Hawthorne Trio, comprised of Sydney musicians Matt Ling (bass) and Elliott Carter (drums), are excited to share with Wagga a taste of contemporary jazz and Jack’s own original music.
